WHAT IS XUMA TEQUILA?
Xuma Tequila is a premium artisanal tequila made from 100% blue agave grown in the volcanic soils of Jalisco, Mexico. Crafted using traditional methods, our tequila is a reflection of the rich heritage of Mexican craftsmanship combined with bold innovation.
WHERE IS THE AGAVE SOURCED FROM?
Xuma Tequila uses 8-year-old blue agave, grown in the volcanic soils and cool climate of Jalisco, Mexico. This unique environment helps develop a rich and complex flavor profile.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS BEHIND MAKING XUMA?
The process begins with the careful harvesting of the agave by skilled jimadores. The piñas are then cooked for 72 hours in traditional brick ovens. After that, the agave is milled using a combination of modern and traditional methods, fermented for 168 hours without additives, and undergoes double distillation in copper and stainless steel stills. This process ensures that the true essence of the agave is preserved in every bottle.
IS XUMA TEQUILA MADE WITHOUT ADDITIVES?
Yes! Xuma Tequila is made using a completely natural process. No additives are used during fermentation or distillation, preserving the natural flavor and aroma of the agave.
